We are looking for someone who wants to provide individualised support to participants with disabilities and/or mental illnesses who are enrolled in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).We know that every person is unique, so your support will be tailored specifically to each individual's needs. Essential Requirements:Our ideal Support Coordinator will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network with local service providers. You will also demonstrate sound organisation and have a high level of attention-to-detail, ideally you will have:Certificate IV in Disability / Mental Health or other higher qualifications in human servicesPrevious experience working with people with a disability or mental health diagnosisDemonstrated knowledge and experience with meeting legislative requirements including strict adherence to privacy and confidentialityExperience designing and managing client plans independentlyKeep abreast of current NDIS legislation, rules and operational guidelines (including NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission, NDIA and other relevant peak bodies)Demonstrated organisational and time management skillsGoal driven and consistently meets deadlines and key performance indicatorsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain oneCurrent Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain oneFully vaccinated against COVID-19Current National Police Certificate (issued within the last 90 days)Current driver’s license and access to a reliable, registered, comprehensively insured vehicle Queensland has introduced a "NO CARD, NO START" policy.  Please make sure you understand the requirements for a Disability Worker Screening Clearance.
